GitLab now enforces expiry dates on tokens that originally had no set expiration date. Those tokens were given an expiration date of one year later. Please review your personal access tokens, project access tokens, and group access tokens to ensure you are aware of upcoming expirations. Administrators of GitLab can find more information on how to identify and mitigate interruption in our documentation.

This MR

changes the version to a "development release", indicating not-yet-even-alpha status
enables publishing the built package to PyPI

The required environment variable POETRY_PYPI_TOKEN_PYPI has already be set in this GitLab project's CI/CD settings to an API token created for the geometalab PyPI account at https://pypi.org/manage/account/#api-tokens
